Our Mission

The Knowledge Circle is an organic concept created to bridge systems of knowledge together to confront dominant themes of oppression that are challenging individuals socially, emotionally, and mentally. Since 2005, I have been active participants in neighborhoods, communities, schools, places of worship and correctional facilities providing innovative programs that inspire and empower individuals to aspire for a greater version of themselves.

After more than 20 years of experience and researching community dynamics, I developed a sincere interest to engage community members who were suffering in the trenches from their personal dysfunction or thriving at the height of celebrated accomplishments. I was most confident that even the worst circumstances were susceptible to positive change when access to circles of knowledge is made available.

TKC’s inaugural program was created in 2010 called Light of Perception a human development & thinking modification program. This was the initial endeavor designed for community engagement to encourage the development of the most unused human potential, the intellect. Several programs would succeed L.O.P. contributing to more developing grass-roots programs and collaborations with community members, leaders, and elected officials such as The Iron Man Club (2015) another program created out of the necessity to provide guidance for inner-city at-risk young men. In September of 2019 the rapid spread of senseless gun violence erupted in Galveston County that unfortunately led to the death of a 3rd close family member. From the pains and hurt of that tragic event the 409 Action Network was formed, a violence retention program.

Our services and programs are designed to empower individuals with the necessary knowledge to become a more efficient manager over their personal social, emotional, and mental health for a thriving and productive lifestyle.
